Studio day seven Hello Hope everyone is keeping well out there. It's late here and my eyes are beginning to feel like paper weights if that makes any sense. There is an old dog here ( not me !! ), his pancreas has stopped working so his body isn't processing food properly. He's dying basically. At the same time every night he comes into the studio and sits on the couch for hours. He walks up to me and stares right in my eyes. I reckon he knows he's not going to be around much longer. I know I won't see him again after I leave here. It's sad. Have any of you heard 'Sol Seppy', her music is so beautiful. I can't stop listening to it. We worked on a song called 'Half Light' today. I'm really excited about this one, it just came together really easily, without much effort. I sang into a great microphone for this song, it's called a Neumann U47, it's from the 1940's. If you coughed into this microphone it would sound amazing ! Tonight my brain is asleep, it's taking me ages just to write one sentence so I'm off to bed. Goodnight Zzzzzzz |
