In the fair city Hello I spaced off there for a few weeks. No more Blackbox studio for now. Thanks to the person who asked about the dog. He is still alive, skeletal and a bit crazy though. I reckon he will probably out live us all! We are nearly there. We need to record two piano songs, do a few over dubs on existing songs, mix it, master it and well then I hope I will have an album for you to hear. I'm guessing that it should be ready to release early next year. I'm not in a hurry to sign another deal. I feel very free at the moment so I'm gonna try to stay that way for as long as I can. I might release it under my own label or I might licence it to a label, who knows, I don't really care to be honest. I will release it somehow. I have to go to the dentist tomorrow, I bloody well hate injections. Why can't they invent a really strong spray that gets in under the surface skin and numbs you good and proper? I smashed my front tooth years ago. I was drinking from a tap (a fauset for those across the pond) while laughing about something and smashed my front tooth. It's been a source of pain and embarrassment ever since. I had a crown for a few years. Once I was on stage and I hit my mouth off the mic and I felt my tooth snap. I ran off stage...of course! Another time I was in a studio about to do a vocal take, I was eating an apple and suddenly my tooth was not in my mouth but stuck in the apple!!! Everyone in the studio felt so bad that they all put black tape over there front tooth. It was a sweet gesture. I can't wait to hear the new Frames album. I've heard mixed reviews from people so I really need to go hear it for myself. The Frames were a major inspirational band for me starting out. I loved them then and I love them still. Glen Hansards lyrics blow my mine most of the time. They are the best live band I have ever seen. For those of you who don't know them, if you can check them out.
